Job Description

Job Title ABS Counterparty Due Diligence Corporate Title Vice President Location New York, NY Overview As a Vice President on the Asset Backed Securities (ABS) Monitoring team, you will participate in due diligence sessions with current and potential clients; this may include traveling to client sites. You will play a pivotal role in supporting the review and Operational Risk Assessment process with deal covenants. You will work closely with deal teams, Credit officers, external clients, and support functions. You will facilitate and work closely with the third-party audit firm to perform reviews on finance facilities, which includes leading the audit lifecycle. This position was created to enhance the Firm’s management of Counterparty risks.

This includes seeing the audit through from finalizing the scope and ensuring the audit is moving along and following up on any findings Skills You’ll Need Bachelor’s degree in finance, Accounting, Economics, or related fields Operational risk management knowledge including experience with financing structures Good analytical skills with attention to detail, ability to explain potentially complex and nuanced transaction structures to the relevant stakeholders Ability to evaluate cash flow models used to structure transactions Ability to read and understand complex loan agreements Skills That Will Help You Excel Ability to work independently and under time pressure Experience with securitization structures, involving non-traditional asset classes and related rating agency methodologies Field auditing experience not required but a plus Strong analytical skills paired with excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to present information in a structured, clear, and concise way Expectations It is the Bank’s expectation that employees hired into this role will work in the New York, NY office in accordance with the Bank’s hybrid working model.
