Applies specialty area knowledge in monitoring, assessing, analyzing and/or evaluating processes and data. Identifies policy gaps and formulates policies. Interprets data and makes recommendations. Researches and interprets factual information. Identifies inconsistencies in data or results, defines business issues and formulates recommendations on policies, procedures or practices. Integrates established disciplinary knowledge within own specialty area with basic understanding of related industry practices. Good understanding of how the team interacts with others in accomplishing the objectives of the area. Develops working knowledge of industry practices and standards. Limited but direct impact on the business through the quality of the tasks/services provided. Impact of the job holder is restricted to own team. In this role, you’re expected to: Analyze and interpret business trends Deliver findings and propose new reporting opportunities that directly impact key initiatives across the department Act as a point of contact for queries from the department relating to various touchpoints of business, eg distribution & readership Manage multiple initiatives simultaneously Part of a truly global team with very experienced, yet collegial, stakeholders who will hold you to an exceptionally high standard Participate in user acceptance testing for all system applications prior to system deployments and undertake detailed data validation, with a clear understanding of the business context Understand the Citi Research business and its drivers Perform less structured (scripted), ad-hoc tasks as necessary, summarizing the steps taken and results achieved for Management Searching published research for errors against minimum standards or gathering information on the internet Appropriately assess risk when business decisions are made, demonstrating particular consideration for the firm's reputation and safeguarding Citigroup, its clients and assets, by driving compliance with applicable laws, rules and regulations, adhering to Policy, applying sound ethical judgment regarding personal behavior, conduct and business practices, and escalating, managing and reporting control issues with transparency. As a successful candidate, you’d ideally have the following skills and exposure: Detail-oriented Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to execute in a large, matrixed organization Self-starter with ability to solve problems independently Intermediate project management and execution skills Education: Bachelor’s/University degree or equivalent experience This job description provides a high-level review of the types of work performed.
