Senior Specialist i.l.s.

For our Abbott Core Diagnostics Division we are looking for a talented linguist to join our International Labeling Services (i.l.s.) team as a: SENIOR TRANSLATOR ENGLISH/LITHUANIAN (m/f) The position will be a full-time home-based function in Lithuania or office-based in Latvia.

Creation and/or translation, proofreading and editing of labelling material in English and/or Lithuanian Deliver high quality of technical translations for end customer use. Good understanding of medical content to meet requirements for qualified translations for both English and Lithuanian. Excellent understanding of required labelling processes and procedures including qualified release of final files for print. Work with department specific software programs. Coordination/communication with professionals within the department and other company related interfaces. Intercultural awareness. REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS AND BACKGROUND: University Degree in translation (English to Lithuanian language). Excellent English language skills. Native speaker level in Lithuanian language. A team-player with a flexible, precise, and independent way of working. Experience with CAT/QA/DTP tools. At least 5 years of documented experience in the field of translation.
