What You Will Do
Lead daily Quality Clinic activities including defect review, product evaluation, and nonconformance disposition. Prioritize and coordinate cross-functional actions to resolve quality issues and prevent recurrence. Conduct structured root cause analysis and drive corrective/preventive actions using 8D, DMAIC, Ishikawa, PFMEA, and 5‑Why methodologies. Maintain accurate defect records, metrics, and quality documentation in accordance with QMS requirements. Analyze quality data (DPPM, escape rates, defect trends) and develop targeted improvement plans. Support supplier quality efforts related to incoming inspection, supplier defects, and SCAR follow-up. Implement containment actions for escapes, suspect lots, and high-risk nonconformities. Partner with manufacturing, engineering, and operations leadership to improve processes and reduce variation. Provide coaching on quality standards, inspection requirements, and best practices. Participate in internal audits, customer/regulatory audits, and AS9100 compliance activities.
Qualifications
You Must Have: Typically requires a University Degree or equivalent experience and minimum 8 years prior relevant experience, or An Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 5 years experience Knowledge of aerospace quality standards such as AS9100 and NADCAP. Strong knowledge of quality tools and root cause methodologies. Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings, specifications, and inspection data. Ability to work onsite in a fast-paced production environment.
