About the Role
As a Strategy & Operations Senior Associate for DoorDash for Business, you'll be at the center of piloting and scaling product features that transform delivery quality, making sure every order arrives on time, accurate, properly labeled, and backed by strong options when something goes wrong. You'll shape the experience for clients, dashers, and merchants across the entire journey, not just one piece of it. This is a build-and-launch role: you'll partner cross-functionally to design testing frameworks and go-to-market plans, then turn insights from our core audiences into real product improvements. Expect to wear a lot of hats, from support and analytics to close partnership with product, often all in the same week.
You will report into the Manager, Strategy & Operations for DoorDash for Business and can work remotely or hybrid depending preference.
You're excited about this opportunity because you will…
• Experiment – Use data-driven decision-making and sound business judgment to run tests and lead product/ feature improvement efforts
• Optimize – Partner with product and engineering teams to continually sharpen the tools that drive quality
• Analyze – Build models that evaluate economics and patterns, turning data into clear decisions
• Execute - Design and run test plans and initiatives that measurably improve merchant and dasher quality
• Collaborate – Work across sales, partner management, operations, product, engineering, and business development to elevate the experience for merchants, dashers, and clients alike
We're excited about you because…
• You have 3+ years of experience in strategy and operations, commercial management, operations, or consulting; direct management experience, high-growth startup (scaling a business from 0 - 1) experience is preferred
• You have a proven track record of leading cross-functional initiatives, hitting goals, and succeeding in a complex and fast moving environment
• You are an excellent analytical thinker who can deliver actionable recommendations out of complex datasets; intermediate SQL experience strongly preferred
• You are customer obsessed - whether that is our clients, merchants or dashers and comfort talking / working with people from all walks of life
• You’re unafraid of ambiguity. You don’t need a playbook. You dive into difficult problems and come up with a plan. Rapid change and learning is exciting to you.
