About this role
What You Will Do
You will support our Controls Service Team with maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs for building automation and HVAC control systems. You will assist with electrical panel building , installing and wiring switchgear and Metasys PLC controls in HVAC distribution boards, and contribute to panel testing, commissioning, fault finding, and on‑site repairs across customer facilities. How You Will Do It Work alongside senior technicians during service visits and inspections Support troubleshooting of BMS, HVAC controls, sensors, and field devices Assist with installation, wiring, configuration, and testing of control components Contribute to electrical panel assembly, testing, and commissioning Perform electrical fault finding and repairs at customer sites Document service activities according to company standards Follow safety procedures and compliance guidelines Engage with customers professionally and clearly What We Look For Matric certificate Interest in HVAC controls, building automation, and field service work Ability to learn quickly, follow technical instructions, and work safely Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel in the Durban region Strong communication skills and a team‑oriented mindset Exposure to HVAC, controls, or electrical systems is an advantage
