What You'll Do
We’re looking for an Investment Operations Analyst to join our Custom Investment Operations team. In this role, you'll perform daily trading controls and self-identify analysis needs to ensure financial transactions are handled timely and accurately. You will support the department and internal business partners by answering questions regarding custom investments as well as detect and address advanced problems with minimal mentorship. You will also participate and/or provide support on project initiatives. Your responsibilities include but are not limited to investment onboarding, trade reconciliation, statistical control reporting, compliance evidence reporting, regulatory support activities, supporting system enhancements and/or process improvement initiatives through development and implementation. • Independently implement and resolve reconciliation problems between recordkeeping, accounting, broker/dealer and/or pricing system with minimal guidance. Identify and resolve issues associated with transactional data, trade variances, settlement variances, and/or compliance breaches. • Onboard and maintain investment offerings to ensure readiness for trading, client usage and/or pricing process. • Independently initiate and lead conversations with internal and external business partners, formulate a plan of action to resolve inquiries/issues. • Support team effectiveness through knowledge transfer and collaboration. • Support and participate in projects, creation and rollout of new initiatives, process reviews and/or system improvements. Who You Are
3+ years of accounting, finance or economics experience or equivalent, shown through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education. A Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in fields such as accounting, finance, economics, or business is preferred. Experience in investment/mutual fund operations or related field is helpful Strong problem solving, technical and analytical skills along with keen attention to detail. A self-starter who is effective with independent decision making and interpersonal skills. Ability to balance a full workload across multiple tasks and prioritize with frequent interruptions. Ability to build and maintain relationships and facilitate teamwork and communication. Strong mentoring, interpersonal and listening skills.
Skills
That Will Help You Stand Out Experience with recordkeeping and accounting reconciliation, transaction processing and overall WSRS processing knowledge. Experience in either investment, fund, accounting, recordkeeping functions, or a similar area. Experience with basic Excel functions preferred. SQL background beneficial but not required.
Salary Range
Information Salary ranges below reflect targeted base salaries. Non-sales positions have the opportunity to participate in a bonus program. Sales positions are eligible for sales incentives, and in some instances a bonus plan, whereby total compensation may far exceed base salary depending on individual performance. Actual compensation for all roles will be based upon geographic location, work experience, education, licensure requirements and/or skill level and will be finalized at the time of offer.
