THE WORK Configures various test stations / test equipment per program required instructions and conducts tests of electronic production assemblies following approved methods, and test procedures.  Adjusts and calibrates test stations systems as required; modifies electronic product by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by provided diagrams, schematics, and troubleshooting methods.  Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as required to resolve test failures. Uses hand, small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Assists Test Engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications.  May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures. Sets up test apparatus and conducts tests of electronic assemblies and units following methods, procedures, standards, and sequences; lays out and assembles units for production electronic equipment according to designs and specifications. Adjusts and calibrates systems as required; modifies electronic equipment by adding, removing, or altering components as defined by predetermined diagrams and sketches. Corrects malfunctions by making adjustments or replacing parts or components as directed. Uses hand and small power tools, and various measuring and testing devices in performing job duties. Determines types of tests to be performed, approves and suggests modifications to testing equipment, and analyzes test results to evaluate performance of products and equipment. Assists engineers in design and development of test procedures for new products and recommends product improvements or manufacturing modifications. May monitor and verify quality in accordance with statistical process or other control procedures.

You possess manufacturing knowledge, are adept at using hand tools, can proficiently read technical drawings to ensure an accurate and efficient assembly processes.  Candidate must posess prior education in an Electronics disciple (Associates Degree, Electronics Certification, at least 1 year of technical education training, etc.) Direct test experience using electronic automated test equipment. Experience in specialized electronic manufacturing tools.  Must be willing and able to work 1st shift Desired Skills 
 • Familiarity with the mate/de-mate of electrical contacts and connectors • Good communication skills • Familiarity with Electrostatic Discharge and ESD mitigation principles • Basic blueprint reading/understanding of schematics • Familiarity with MS Office Suite and basic computer use Interview Questions
