We are looking for an Intern to join the Franklin Templeton office in Singapore. The internship is expected to commence in December 2026 for 25 to 35 weeks. Templeton Global Investments manages equity investments across Asia Pacific markets from Singapore. The team combines local market insight, global research resources, portfolio management expertise, and disciplined risk management to identify long-term growth opportunities for clients. Interns gain hands-on exposure to portfolio management, investment research, analytical tools, and collaborative workflows in a dynamic asset management environment. How you will add value?
Core Responsibilities
Support equity research projects aligned to current investment priorities Conduct company, industry, competitive, and thematic research Analyse financial statements, earnings, valuations, and market data Test investment hypotheses using financial and market information Use artificial intelligence tools to deepen and accelerate research Strategic Responsibilities: Enhance Excel-based tools and investment workflows Modernise watchlists, spreadsheets, formulas, links, and dashboards Reduce manual steps and improve analytical efficiency Integrate internal data into practical investment tools Improve how portfolio, company, valuation, and market information is presented Explore artificial intelligence solutions for scalable investment processes What will help you be successful in this role?
Education & Experience
Second-year university students or above, preferably studying Finance, Economics, Accounting or a related discipline Good understanding of finance, financial analysis, and equity investing Technical Skills: Strong Excel skills, e.g. VLOOKUP Familiarity with artificial intelligence tools Interest in applying artificial intelligence to investment workflows Ability to improve processes beyond basic research tasks Soft Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills High attention to detail Curiosity and willingness to experiment with new tools Self-starter who can approach broad problems independently Proactive mindset for identifying practical improvements At Franklin Templeton, we believe success is built through powerful partnerships.
