The Global Senior Category Manager, Local Service Providers (LSP), is responsible for developing and executing Lam Research's global procurement category strategy for external service provider resources that support customer tool installation, upgrades, preventive maintenance, and field service activities. These Local Service Providers work alongside Lam Field Service Engineers and customer account teams to deliver critical, flexible service capacity supporting customer operations worldwide. This role serves as the global procurement leader and subject matter expert for the LSP category, partnering closely with Customer Support Business Group (CSBG), Global Operations, Regional Service Leadership, Customer Account Teams, Human Resources, Legal, Compliance, Finance, and Procurement stakeholders to develop sustainable workforce solutions that balance capacity, cost, compliance, flexibility, and business continuity. The successful candidate will lead development of regional and global category and strategic sourcing strategies, supplier governance frameworks, workforce engagement models, and commercial agreements while ensuring alignment with labor regulations, co-employment risk mitigation requirements, customer expectations, and Lam's long-term service growth objectives. Category Strategy & Workforce Solutions
Develop and execute global, regional, and local category strategies for Local Service Providers supporting field service operations. Partner with Field Service leadership, customer account teams, and regional business leaders to forecast workforce capacity requirements and develop scalable service delivery solutions. Evaluate labor market conditions, service provider capabilities, regulatory changes, and customer requirements to inform category strategy. Develop sourcing and supplier strategies that support business growth, service responsiveness, workforce flexibility, and operational excellence. Establish category roadmaps aligned with Lam's long-term workforce and customer support objectives.
Strategic Sourcing & Commercial Leadership
Lead complex sourcing initiatives, supplier selection processes, competitive bidding events, and supplier transitions. Develop negotiation strategies and lead commercial negotiations for local, regional, and global LSP agreements. Structure commercial models that incentivize performance, service quality, flexibility, productivity, and cost competitiveness. Deliver measurable savings, productivity improvements, and business value through strategic sourcing initiatives. Negotiate master service agreements, statements of work, pricing structures, and supplier governance requirements.
Supplier Governance & Performance Management
Establish enterprise supplier governance frameworks for strategic LSP suppliers. Lead executive-level supplier reviews and business performance evaluations. Develop supplier scorecards and KPI frameworks focused on:

Drive supplier continuous improvement initiatives and corrective action plans.
