Job Responsibilities
Requires good understanding of Asset Servicing lifecycle (Corporate Actions & Income Ensure accurate and timely completion of mandatory & voluntary corporate action payments received from agents/depository Reconcile positions and payments and post related transactions accurately to client accounts Execute routine and complex asset servicing tasks and deliver timely operational or technical resolutions Diagnose exceptions and investigate issues through to closure within defined autonomy Verify payments, income, and tax-related items and resolve client and internal queries Coordinate with Middle Office and Client Service teams as a primary operational point of contact Perform peer reviews and provide constructive feedback to improve quality and controls Complete supervisory checks and daily operational sign-offs with strong control discipline Ensure department has viable Business Continuity and Concentration plans in place, that are tested in accordance with Bank Policy and that all staff are familiar with the plans Required Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Hold a bachelor’s degree in a business discipline or equivalent qualification. Bring 10 + years of financial services experience in custody asset servicing, fund services, markets/prime brokerage, or securities lending. Demonstrate strong knowledge of mandatory/Voluntary corporate actions and income processing across the asset servicing lifecycle. Apply strong analytical and problem-solving skills to resolve complex breaks and operational issues. Communicate effectively across stakeholders and partner closely with Middle Office and Client Service. Organize and prioritize competing workstreams to deliver under tight deadlines. Operate with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel (VLOOKUP), Word, and Outlook. Preferred Qualifications, Capabilities, and Skills Leverage experience supporting multi-stream programs and managing competing priorities. Utilize Alteryx, Python, and AI-driven automation to streamline processing and controls. Strengthen control environments by designing checks that reduce errors and improve audit readiness. Drive change initiatives by translating pain points into measurable efficiency gains. Adapt quickly to evolving business requirements and changing market practices. Execute supervisory responsibilities by coaching peers and reinforcing quality standards. Enhance client experience by resolving queries quickly and preventing repeat exceptions.
