What you’ll do The role responsibilities include: · Review tower drawings, pole drawings, foundation drawings, structure schedules, loading-related drawings, and installation details. · Check drawing consistency against structural calculations, PLS-CADD outputs, route conditions, and geotechnical/foundation requirements. · Support drawing mark-ups, comment registers, and comment close-out tracking. · Coordinate with transmission line structural engineer, transmission line electrical engineer, civil/geotechnical, and substation teams. What you’ll have · Diploma or relevant technical qualification in Civil/Structural Engineering, Drafting, Transmission Line Design, or related discipline. · Minimum 8 years of relevant structural drafting/design experience for transmission line, substation, or infrastructure projects. · Experience with HV/EHV transmission line tower or foundation drawings is preferred. · Proficient in AutoCAD and MicroStation; working familiarity with PLS-CADD or STAAD Pro outputs is preferred. · Strong ability to check drawing consistency, constructability, and interface details.
