About this role
We’re hiring several experienced QA Specialists to ensure our players get the experience they deserve. Instead of distantly supporting, you’ll be fully embedded within a specific game team, like Clash of Clans, Clash Royale, Brawl Stars or Hay Day, working side-by-side to keep our quality bar high and our players engaged. Our game teams focus on building experiences that millions of people will enjoy for years. To do that, we need people who live and breathe quality and player experience. Supercell is growing but our teams are still small and efficient. You’ll have a couple of testers as your peers so you’re in good company with loads of ownership. We believe in a personal approach to hiring. In addition to hard and soft skills, we want to make sure you find a team where you’ll thrive. Throughout the process, we’ll work with you to figure out which game team best aligns with your specific expertise and what you’re most passionate about. If you love the innovative side of QA as much as the collaborative, player-focused approach and you're comfortable being the person your team can count on – let’s get in touch!
What You'll Be Doing
Provide QA support for your specific team to design, develop, and apply testing processes that improve game quality and player experience, wherever you're needed most. Validate release candidates across the full release cycle, ensuring builds are stable, compliant, and ready for submission. Test game performance (FPS, memory, loading times, battery, network) and investigate crashes, ANRs, and other technical issues to find root causes. Validate backend systems, live features, and SDK integrations, and support live operations by helping investigate issues and verify fixes quickly. Plan and execute tests with no explicit requirements, taking the initiative to analyze the product and determine the best tests to mitigate risk. Manage external test vendors to help scale testing capability. Own bug tracking, reporting, and regression testing to keep releases high quality. Continuously evolve how we test by introducing better tools, strategies, and ways of working. What You Have At least 7 years of hands-on experience testing games, with a track record spanning both technical/systems-level testing and broader feature and content testing. Good knowledge of iOS and Android ecosystems, with experience testing games on both platforms. Experience testing performance metrics such as FPS, memory, battery, loading times, and network behavior. Ability to investigate complex issues such as crashes, ANRs, and backend-related bugs. Familiarity with client-server architectures and live service environments. Comfortable working across multiple teams at once, adapting quickly to different workflows and project needs. Strong understanding of F2P games, game design, and live operations. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a hands-on, investigative mindset. Clear communication skills, as in you can explain technical issues to engineers and non-technical stakeholders alike. A reliable, independent team player who stays calm under pressure and can multitask across projects. A self-starter approach to use AI: you've found ways to use it in your day-to-day work, you experiment, figure things out and bring the same energy to every new challenge. Would Be Nice if You Also Have Experience with release processes, CI/CD pipelines, or build systems. Familiarity with backend systems, cloud environments, or server testing. Experience with performance profiling tools and optimization workflows. Knowledge of SDK integrations and platform services. Scripting or basic programming skills for debugging or automation. Previous experience managing external test vendors. Knowledge of game analytics and performance monitoring tools. Where You'll Be Because our teams are based in both Helsinki and London, the specific location depends on which team you join. ––– That's it about the role! Below, we've
