Key job responsibilities You'll be at the heart of Australia's sovereign cloud security mission — contributing from day one while building expertise that will define your career. Your core focus will be assisting in the onboarding of regional services. Working alongside experienced security specialists, you'll help document and implement security controls for new AWS services entering the environment. You'll draft, edit, and validate technical specifications that meet regional security requirements — learning to balance precision with clarity in every document you produce. You'll interpret Australia's most important security frameworks in practice. The Information Security Manual (ISM), Protective Security Policy Framework (PSPF), and Defence Security Policy Framework (DSPF) won't just be acronyms to you — they'll be tools you wield daily to ensure services meet the bar. Collaboration will accelerate your growth. You'll partner with internal service teams and customers to establish security baselines and objectives, building relationships that span the programme.
