Executive Director- Remote The Hollywood Professional Association (HPA) is a U.S.-based nonprofit organization dedicated to advancing the needs, interests, and policies of professionals throughout the media and entertainment industry. We are seeking a strategic, collaborative, and industry-connected Executive Director to serve as our senior executive leader. This role works closely with the Board of Directors, Executive Committee, staff, volunteers, members, and industry partners to advance HPA's mission, strengthen member value, and ensure operational excellence. To thrive/succeed as the Executive Director, you should have: Proven executive leadership experience within a nonprofit, association, or member-based organization Strong strategic planning, governance, and organizational management skills Experience working with boards of directors and executive committees Demonstrated financial management and budgeting expertise Excellent relationship-building and stakeholder engagement abilities Experience managing staff, consultants, and organizational operations Strong communication, public speaking, and brand ambassador skills Knowledge of the media and entertainment industry preferred Your responsibilities as the Executive Director will include: Develop and execute HPA's multi-year strategic roadmap Identify and pursue industry partnerships, collaborations, and revenue opportunities Serve as HPA's representative at industry, government, and community events Support the Board of Directors through planning, governance, and policy development Lead annual budgeting, financial oversight, and vendor management Ensure sound financial controls and organizational accountability Direct daily organizational operations and staff management Oversee hiring, onboarding, employee development, and performance management Establish systems for program delivery, reporting, and organizational effectiveness Provide executive oversight of advisory councils and committees Guide execution of the annual Tech Retreat and other HPA programs and events Oversee venue planning and contract management for future events Lead the future of the media and entertainment industry through visionary nonprofit leadership.
