WHO YOU’LL WORK WITH The NA Local Creation Team pioneers distinctive product shaped by deep consumer and cultural and hyperlocal insights, igniting ideas through close partnership with global product, the geo merchandising team and the geo design team. The Senior Director inspires a cross functional crew—product management, product information, product development, and sourcing/costing—to seize unique opportunities and deliver unforgettable marketplace moments. This is a highly matrixed organization, and this person will regularly present to both small and large audiences. Passion for Apparel Bachelor’s degree in Business, Retail Merchandising or related field. Will accept any suitable combination of education, experience, and training.  10+ years directly relevant experience in product creation, merchandising or related fields Demonstrated success in leading and empowering teams while building collaborative working relationships Excellent leadership skills and a consistent record of developing top talent Experience in consumer, cultural, and marketplace insights    Ability to build trust and collaborative partnerships across matrixed organizations   In-depth understanding of consumer, marketplace, competition, and industry trends High-level product foresight / aesthetic sensibility Excellent interpersonal skills Excellent written and verbal communication skills Ability to travel up to 30% of the time domestic and international WHAT YOU’LL WORK ON The Senior Director of North America Local Creation will be responsible for driving the product creation process from initial concept to commercialization and production. You will align on seasonal goals with Merchandising, driving insight gathering and socialization. You bring clarity, pace, and vision to a cross functional team to deliver distinct, consumer right product for the NA marketplace. You will ensure on-time delivery and development according to critical dates, product specification, and profitability goals. Brings extensive end-to-end to product creation experience; You will partner with global product and geo merchandising to unlock NA specific opportunities rooted in consumer and cultural insight.  You will translate enterprise Apparel and Local Creation objectives into a clear, geo specific strategy and operating plan; sets measurable goals with impact across the business segment.  You will be tasked with Leading and Inspiring teams across PHK and in our key cities (New York, LA) to ensure a one cohesive team and operating model.
