What this job involves: The Event Technician provides critical operational support to the Site, Assistant Facility, and Event Coordinators ensuring the seamless execution of event services, vendor oversight, and equipment management. This proactive role is essential in delivering exceptional customer service, maintaining clean and organized event spaces, and assisting with broader facility maintenance and occupancy services. Your day-to-day tasks will include: Conduct daily walkthroughs of event, office, and storage spaces to ensure they are clean, organized, and fully prepared for use. Execute physical setups and teardowns for meetings and events, including the configuration of furniture, decor, and equipment. Coordinate onsite meeting with Event Coordinators and stock supplies for event hosts and attendees. Support general facilities and administrative duties as needed, including reception, guest support, mail services, and office supply management.
Required Qualifications
Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds regularly to perform furniture configurations and event setups. Flexibility to work non-standard hours, including early mornings, late evenings, and weekends, to support event schedules. Proven experience in customer service, hospitality, facilities support, or event coordination. Strong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to interact professionally with corporate clients. Exceptional organizational and time management skills, with a demonstrated ability to work independently under minimal supervision. Robust problem-solving capabilities and the resilience to handle high-pressure or stressful situations calmly.
Preferred Qualifications
Prior experience working in a facilities management or professional corporate office environment. Familiarity with health, safety, and security protocols within a commercial office setting. Knowledge of basic audiovisual (AV) setup and troubleshooting for hybrid or virtual meetings. Estimated compensation for this position: 50,000.00 – 60,000.00 USD per year This range is an estimate and actual compensation may differ. Final compensation packages are determined by various considerations including but not limited to candidate qualifications, location, market conditions, and internal considerations.
