Job Title: Data Science and AI Engineering Lead ​, VP Location: Bangalore, India Role Description Driving the creation of new AI solutions for Corporate Banking and Investment Banking Operations and Controls (CBIBOC). As Deutsche Bank enters into a phase where a variety of data and AI development tools are becoming more accessible, we are seeking an experienced Data Scientist and AI Engineer to help drive the implementation of the Corporate Banking and Investment Banking Operations and Controls data, AI and analytics strategy. The role holder will report up to the Head of AI for Corporate Banking and Investment Banking Operations and Controls, and will be a key part of a collaborative, respected and growing team consisting of Data Scientists / AI Engineers, Product Managers, data experts, and transformation leads (~20 individuals based in London, Bangalore, and New York). The role holder will be expected to lead the design, development and implementation of new AI solutions for stakeholders across CBIBOC. These solutions will vary in terms of complexity, but all will have the goal of simplifying and accelerating Operations and Controls activities, achieving cost save targets, and driving revenue growth. The design and development of new AI solutions will be done in collaboration with staff from IT (TDI) and other teams across CBIBOC and Deutsche Bank more broadly. Development activities will range from the use of no-code / low-code platforms (e.g. to build new workflow automations or multi-agent solutions) to the engineering of new data products, models, and scalable AI solutions in collaboration with IT. Your Contribution: You will be instrumental in shaping the future of the CB IB operations and controls landscape by re-imagining how existing processes could be improved using AI, and driving the development of new solutions to make this vision a reality. Its key responsibility is to pioneer the rapid turnaround of new AI solutions to enhance efficiency, increase effectiveness, and drive business growth. This role demands an individual who can lead by example and thrives when collaborating with both technical and non-technical (i.e. business) experts.
