Associate Systems Engineer - Processor IPT Company: The Boeing Company The Boeing PAC-3 program is seeking a motivated and experienced Associate Systems Engineer (SE) to join our Processor Integrated Product Team (IPT) in Huntsville, AL . As a Systems Engineer for the Processor IPT, you will work closely with a multidisciplinary team of engineers to ensure the successful design and manufacturing of the Processor on the PAC-3 Seeker to meet the performance, reliability, and safety requirements of the seeker system. A successful candidate will be responsible for development and adherence of the Processor requirements and the interfaces of the Processor with the rest of the Seeker system. Boeing Defense, Space & Security (BDS) Patriot Advanced Capability (PAC-3) program is an air-defense missile system designed to counter tactical ballistic missiles, cruise missiles, and advanced aircraft where Boeing is the original engineering manufacturer of the seeker. Boeing’s seekers provide active data to the PAC-3 missile which enables it to acquire, intercept and destroy threats using hit-to-kill technology. Responsibilities: Ensure compliance with system requirements and specifications of the design and development of the Processor subsystem for the PAC-3 missile seeker Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including electrical, mechanical, and software engineers, to integrate the Processor into the overall missile seeker system Define and document the Processor’s architecture, interfaces, and operational characteristics Ensure compliance with relevant industry standards, regulations, and safety guidelines in the design and implementation of the processor assembly Designs or develops, maintains, and identifies improvements for the planning, organization, implementation and monitoring of requirements management processes, tools, risk, issues, opportunity management and technology readiness assessment processes Support test plans and procedure development to verify the functionality and performance of the processor subsystem Support the troubleshooting and resolution of any technical issues or anomalies related to the processor during development, integration, manufacturing, and testing phases Collaborate with project managers to establish project schedules, milestones, and deliverables related to the processor Stay updated with the latest advancements in processor technologies, industry trends, and best practices, and apply this knowledge to enhance the performance and capabilities of our missile seeker system Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): Bachelor of Science degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology (including Manufacturing Technology), Computer Science, Data Science, Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry or non-US equivalent qualifications directly related to the work statement 1 year or more of professional systems engineering experience Familiarity with industry standards and regulations related to missile seeker systems Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Experience in design and development of processors for missile seekers or similar precision tracking systems Knowledge of manufacturing processes and techniques for electronic assemblies, including PCB design and fabrication Proficiency in using engineering software tools for modeling, simulation, and analysis (e.g., CAD, FEA, MATLAB, etc.) Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to analyze complex systems and troubleshoot technical issues Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company's Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.   Drug-Free Workplace: Boeing is a
