About this role

Google’s corporate office footprint spans the globe, requiring visionary leaders who can maintain a holistic view of complex, workplace environments. As the Global EHS Design and Readiness Manager within the EHS Center of Excellence, you will lead complex, multi-disciplinary office construction and workplace design initiatives. You will define technical and operational EHS requirements alongside internal partners, steering workplace projects seamlessly through their entire life-cycle—from initial concept to workplace handover. This involves managing and communicating strategic goals to cross-functional stakeholders. In this role you will provide enterprise-level leadership in developing EHS programs that enable our teams to build, deliver, and occupy corporate office spaces safely and efficiently. You will engage with all levels of employees and leadership to design new tools, processes, and procedures that mitigate risks from a design and readiness perspective. Partnering with key stakeholders across Real Estate and Workplace Services (REWS), Development and Real Estate Investments (DEVCO), and the broader EHS ecosystem, you will architect a comprehensive workplace strategy to continuously evaluate program risks and opportunities, establishing feedback loops and executing work plans against high-standard corporate objectives. From keeping Googlers safe and secure to managing disruptive events, the ability to anticipate, deter, detect, and act are the pillars of Google’s Global Security and Resilience Services (GSRS) team. As a member of GSRS you will help develop a culture where safety, security and resiliency are integrated into every facet of Google, including the creative process. You will help us continually identify, evaluate and monitor enterprise risks that could affect business activities and provide business leaders the information they need to make critical decisions. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to create innovative strategies and develop programs that drive sustainable effectiveness. Individual pay is determined by factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
