Intakes commencing now  We are looking for motivated individuals to join our team as an Electrical Trades Apprentice We will consider applicants for their 1st year, or they can join Otis to complete from their 2nd or 3rd year of an existing apprenticeship.

Our apprentices are trained in the Installation, Modernization, Servicing, and Repairing of Elevators, Escalators, and Travelators You will gain and apply both electrical and mechanical knowledge, skills and abilities, to troubleshoot and creatively solve problems across a variety of work challenges You will gain maximum exposure to the business by rotating between the Service and Construction businesses throughout the life of your apprenticeship You will get to work closely with our customers and develop exceptional customer service skills​ To be considered you will need to address the following in your 1 page cover letter Work rights – You must be a permanent resident or citizen, or be a relevant visa holder with full working rights in Australia Highest level of education – Including if any pre-apprenticeship has been undertaken.  A minimum of Year 10 School Certificate or equivalent is required Drivers license – A valid driver’s license is mandatory Proactivity, curiosity and enthusiasm – Otis is looking for self-starters with a strong passion for innovation and an interest and willingness to learn An interest in the elevator industry – We are keen to develop employees through a long term career with Otis Relevant work and/or work experience – Explaining any relevant transferrable knowledge, skills and abilities that align to the role A demonstrated aptitude and interest in working with technology – To show an ability to work with smart/intelligent systems and higher end technology solutions What we offer Strong and market competitive remuneration and conditions Specialist in-house developed elevator and escalator technical training.
