Job Summary The Senior Director of Corporate Accounting provides strategic leadership and direction over Corporate Accounting and Consolidations. This role is accountable for performance and results across these key sub-functions, with a strong focus on driving process improvements, maintaining internal control standards, M&A activities, and ensuring timely and accurate financial reporting under US GAAP. The position reports to the Chief Accounting Officer/Controller and plays a key role in contributing to the development of long-term functional strategies and organizational capabilities, while serving as a liaison to executive management and other critical stakeholders. EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE · 4 year / Bachelor's Degree (Required) · In lieu of the above education requirements, an equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered. · Six (6) or more years Leadership experience with a complex finance organization (Required) · Fifteen (15) or more years Accounting Experience (Required) · Required Certifications/Licensures: (CPA) JOB REQUIREMENTS · Oversee and manage all aspects of the monthly and quarterly consolidation process, including intercompany eliminations, validation of reported results, and resolution of discrepancies, ensuring accuracy and compliance with US GAAP. · Lead the corporate accounting team responsible for payroll accounting, fixed asset accounting, lease accounting, consolidations, and eliminations. · Deliver timely and accurate consolidated financial statements and internal reporting packages in alignment with close calendar deadlines. · Partner with Technical Accounting to assess and implement new accounting standards and US GAAP guidance. · Oversee and maintain the corporate general ledger, including legal entity reporting, intercompany eliminations, and compliance with accounting policies and SOX controls, while ensuring timely financial close. · Review and approve journal entries and propose adjusting entries to ensure accurate and complete financial statements. · Drive closing cycle improvements by enhancing processes, procedures, and systems that support accurate reporting and efficient close timelines. · Support quarterly reviews and annual audits by coordinating with external auditors and responding to information requests from other business groups. ·
