**Day in the Life of a Software/Computer Science Engineer**

We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate\. From tiltrotor technology to tail sitting vehicles, our engineers work across a wide portfolio of aircraft programs\. As an Engineer at Bell, you can expect to:

+ Develop and maintain software applications and systems

+ Conduct software testing and debugging to ensure quality

+ Prepare and update technical documentation

+ Collaborate with cross functional teams for project integration

+ A bachelor’s degree or higher with a major in Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or Computer Science required

+ 0\-2 years of relevant experience

+ Available to work full time, onsite starting in July 2027

+ Familiarity with Systems Engineering processes, from requirements through verification\.

+ System integration experience, integrating complex systems, including sensors, components, complex electronic hardware, and software\.

+ Software / coding experience using C , C\#, Matlab and other industry standard development environments\.

+ Experience with MOSA standards / processes: FACE, HOST, SOSA, RTOS, ARINC 661, ARINC 653

+ Control system design and modeling using Simulink, and implementation on hardware\.

+ Knowledge and experience of the most rigorous industry standard verification and validation practices for flight critical software applications\.

+ Software verification test experience in high fidelity hardware\-in\-the\-loop \(HILS\) environments using integrated flight dynamic modeling of air vehicle performance\.
