Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Sector is seeking a Systems Engineer Level 2 - Mission Operations Factory Support to join our team in Redondo Beach, CA. *This position is contingent upon the candidate obtaining final clearances and program access(es) within a reasonable period of time as determined by the company. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future. This position will be responsible for preparing for and executing Spacecraft Operations & Maintenance. What you’ll get to do: Provide on-call support for resolution and lead return to operations following anomalies Perform root cause and corrective action analysis in response to system anomalies Contribute and present to program and customer leadership on system state of health (SOH), anomalies, and other critical needs or topics Contribute to topics and discussions with external interfaces (Customers and SETAs) and sub-contractors Foster a culture of knowledge transfer through documentation and recording of system operations, hardware, and software Demonstrate a commitment to ethics and integrity, and the capability to innovate while challenging traditional ways of doing business Must be able to work as an effective member of a team, be self-motivated, and work under general direction while independently determining and developing approaches to solutions. Possibility of travel to support offsite meetings (not mandatory) Basic Qualifications: Must have a Bachelor of Science degree in a STEM discipline with 2 years of relevant experience OR a Master of Science Degree in a STEM discipline with 0 years of experience Experience with determining root cause and correction actions Candidate must have an active SCI at time of application OR Candidate must have an active U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance (or equivalent) at time of application and prior to start date as well as the ability and willingness to obtain and maintain an active SCI prior to start date. Continued employment thereafter will be subject to the candidate’s maintenance of the level of clearance and program access required for the position in the future.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience interfacing with customers/executive management Knowledge of MATLAB, Python, and/or Linux OS Experience with systems with complex data paths and processing Knowledge and familiarity with space vehicle subsystems Knowledge and familiarity of space vehicle fault management and autonomy  Experience with Operations and Maintenance of Space Systems Primary Level Salary Range: $91,800.00 - $137,600.00 The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman
