The Systems Analyst, Digital Transformation will serve as a business analyst, and test lead for strategic digital initiatives. This role connects business priorities with technology delivery by translating needs into actionable requirements, and ensuring solutions are thoroughly tested and ready for release. Working across business, IT, quality, and vendor teams, the Systems Analyst will help deliver scalable digital capabilities that improve customer experience, employee productivity, operational efficiency, and data-driven decision-making.
Key responsibilities
Business analysis and solution definition Lead discovery sessions, stakeholder interviews, workshops, process mapping, and current-state/future-state analysis to identify business needs and transformation opportunities. Elicit, analyze, document, validate, and manage functional, nonfunctional, data, reporting, integration, security, and compliance requirements. Translate business needs into clear process flows, use cases, user stories, system requirements, decision records, and traceability documentation. Identify process gaps, control requirements, data dependencies, and organizational impacts; recommend practical solutions that align with enterprise architecture and digital strategy. Test leadership and release readiness Own the end-to-end test strategy for assigned initiatives, including system, integration, regression, user acceptance, and production-validation testing. Develop and maintain test plans, scenarios, test cases, test data, requirements traceability, entry and exit criteria, defect workflows, and test status reporting. Coordinate business testers, technical teams, and vendors; facilitate user acceptance testing and ensure defects are prioritized, resolved, retested, and documented. Assess solution quality and release risk, provide fact-based readiness recommendations, and confirm that acceptance criteria and business outcomes have been met before deployment. Drive test process improvements and appropriate automation to increase coverage, repeatability, speed, and quality. How will you get here? Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Systems, Business, Engineering, or a related field; equivalent relevant experience may be considered. 5+ years of related experience in systems analysis, business analysis, digital product delivery, quality assurance, software testing, or enterprise technology implementation. Demonstrated experience performing product owner responsibilities, including backlog management, prioritization, user-story development, acceptance criteria, and stakeholder decision-making. Demonstrated experience business analysis activities across complex, cross-functional initiatives. Demonstrated experience planning and leading system, integration, regression, and user acceptance testing. Strong understanding of system architecture, integrations, APIs, data flows, web-based applications, cloud technologies, and enterprise platforms. Practical experience with Agile, Scrum, Lean, hybrid, and/or traditional software-delivery methodologies. Experience with product, requirements, and test-management tools such as Azure DevOps, Jira, Confluence, HP ALM/Quality Center, or comparable platforms. Knowledge, skills, and abilities Strong analytical thinking, problem solving, process design, and decision-making capabilities. Ability to balance strategic product goals with detailed requirements, delivery constraints, and quality expectations. Ability to quickly understand complex business processes and translate them into scalable digital solutions. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities, dependencies, and deadlines.
