Position
Purpose: Develop and coordinate company written documents and communications Develop, produce and upload various print communications for client promotion of wellness, disease management and work-life/EAP programs Develop mock-ups for client presentations and precision production art for print vendors Edit and design articles, announcements, emails and newsletters on topics of interest Create content and coordinate changes for the client company websites Assist with making layout revisions, both graphic and text, and editing photos Work with technical staff to maintain fully functioning client company web sites Develop flyers, poster, brochures and promotional materials Schedule, edit and coordinate all client webinars and online seminars The Marketing Communications Specialist will work closely with internal departments and the Marketing department to support the development, production and execution of member materials. This role is focused on project management and ushering projects through the review and approval process. Day-to-Day Responsibilities Develop and execute member communications including, but not limited to: Brochures Letters Advertising copy Newsletters Handbooks/manuals/directories Mailings Manage the review and approval process for marketing materials via online project management tools. Ensure content meets marketing guidelines and compliance regulations. Maintain the internal software programs for marketing and material submissions. Support the marketing department with ad hoc requests and projects as needed.
Desired Skills
Strong writing/editing/proofreading background (must have examples of work to be considered). Experience in marketing/communications and project management (in-house or agency). Exceptional organizational, time management and project management skills. Proven ability to multi-task, shift focus on-demand and re-prioritize as-needed, while meeting stringent deadlines. Previous experience in a fast-paced environment a plus. Adapts quickly in an environment prone to change and has the ability to pivot and shift on-demand. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Experience in healthcare/compliance regulations a PLUS or experience with marketing guidelines and brand standards.
Education/Experience
Bachelor’s degree in English, Journalism, Graphic Design, related field or equivalent experience. 2+ years of communications and graphic design experience.
