Description Capstone Partners is seeking a Market Intelligence Intern to assist in the research and production of outbound market intelligence content. This individual will provide support to Capstone’s Market Intelligence team, tracking merger and acquisition (M&A) activity across a variety of sectors to be utilized by senior team members in research report production. The reports are essential to Capstone’s business development and brand recognition and are used by thousands of business owners, alliance partners, private equity groups, and news outlets as a valuable source of M&A information. The Intern’s core responsibility will be to work closely with the firm’s Market Intelligence team to collect and analyze M&A, public, and private equity data for reports. Additional responsibilities include copy editing team content and assisting senior members of the team with research projects and research content creation. The Intern will also participate in a Lead Generation rotational program, assisting each Market Intelligence member with research projects in their respective coverage industries. Applicants should have relevant experience or coursework in financial writing and must be a current or incoming undergraduate junior or senior, pursuing a four-year degree in an applicable major, preferably Economics, Finance, Business Administration, or English.
