Who We’re Looking For  Microsoft Advertising (MSA) is seeking a  Learning and Development Certification Learning Manager  responsible for designing, managing, and scaling certification programs that educate and validate learner knowledge, skills, and readiness. This role partners with subject matter experts, business stakeholders, instructional designers, and training delivery teams to create industry-recognized certification pathways that drive skill attainment, professional credibility, and measurable business outcomes. This role will manage the evolution of our Learning Management System (LMS) platforms- including strategy, design, content creation, execution, promotion, and measurement.   The role combines proficieny in learning and development, assessment design, credentialing best practices, learning technology, and program management to ensure certifications are rigorous, scalable, data-driven, and aligned to business needs. Responsibilities

Own and evolve the Microsoft Advertising external certification program strategy and roadmap in partnership with stakeholders to ensure certification offerings support business goals, product priorities, and learner development. Partner with business leaders and cross-functional teams to define certification priorities, requirements, and measures of success. Lead the end-to-end certification lifecycle, including program governance, operational readiness, launch planning, program maintenance, and periodic refresh cycles based on data. Collaborate with subject matter experts to develop, maintain, and evolve certification content, standards, and program frameworks that reflect changing business needs and industry trends. Design and develop engaging learning content by applying proven instructional design principles, ensuring materials are learner-centric, interactive, and aligned to business objectives Establish AI-first content approach, including when to leverage assistants vs curate or create content manually. Provide guidance on data analytics to evaluate trends, tell the data story, identify capability gaps, improve benchmarking, and drive learner-centric priorities. Partner with Marketing, Sales, and other teams for promotional opportunities to highlight new content and grow the audience.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications: Master's Degree or equivalent 1+ year(s) experience in learning and development, certification, credentialing or corporate education OR Bachelor's degree or equivalent AND 2+ years experience in learning and development, certification, credentialing or corporate education OR equivalent experience.
