Job Description
Job Summary The BIM Manager will lead the BIM management function within the PMCM team, ensuring that the Contractor’s BIM processes, models, and digital deliverables comply with the BIM Execution Plan (BEP), project requirements, information standards, and coordination procedures. The role will support effective multidisciplinary coordination and ensure accurate digital information is delivered throughout the project lifecycle and at handover.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage the BIM function within the PMCM team for airport projects. Review, manage, and monitor the Contractor’s BIM Execution Plan (BEP) and BIM deliverables. Ensure BIM processes and deliverables comply with project requirements, standards, and information management procedures. Oversee multidisciplinary BIM coordination and ensure effective integration of architectural, structural, MEP, civil, and specialist airport systems. Review federated models and monitor clash detection, coordination, and interface issues. Lead BIM coordination meetings and ensure timely resolution of clashes and technical interfaces. Monitor model development, LOD compliance, model quality, and data integrity throughout the project lifecycle. Review BIM submissions and provide technical comments and recommendations to the Contractor. Coordinate with the Client, Consultant, Contractor, and project stakeholders on BIM requirements and digital information management. Verify as-built BIM models and asset information against project and handover requirements. Support the Client in digital asset management and integration of BIM information with FM/asset management systems. Monitor BIM deliverables, submission schedules, and compliance with project milestones. Prepare BIM status reports, dashboards, coordination reports, and management updates. Support the implementation of digital workflows and continuous improvement of BIM coordination processes.
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Civil Engineering, MEP Engineering, Construction Management, or a related discipline. 8–12 years of BIM experience, with relevant experience in large-scale construction, infrastructure, or airport projects. Proven experience as a BIM Manager / BIM Lead on major multidisciplinary projects. Strong knowledge of BIM standards, BEP, LOD, model coordination, clash detection, and information management. Proficiency in Revit, Navisworks, Autodesk Construction Cloud/BIM 360, or equivalent BIM platforms. Experience with multidisciplinary coordination and complex project interfaces. Experience in as-built BIM, asset information, digital handover, and FM integration is preferred. Airport project experience, particularly involving terminal buildings, aviation facilities,
