We provide advisory and technical services to support environmental compliance, manage impacts and reduce risk throughout every stage of a project. Our WA Environment Business has an exciting opportunity for an environmental professional to join our growing Impact Assessment and Permitting (IAP) team in Perth. With a strong pipeline of work across Energy, Transport, Mining and Defence, you will contribute to environmental impact assessments, approvals and management for a diverse range of major projects. We are open to candidates at Professional, Senior or Principal level, with the responsibilities tailored to your experience and career goals. What will a day in this role look like? Prepare and coordinate environmental impact assessments, approval documentation, constraints assessments, environmental management plans and other technical deliverables. Work with multidisciplinary teams to identify environmental risks and ensure environmental considerations are incorporated throughout project planning, design and delivery. Engage with clients, regulators and stakeholders to support clear, practical and timely project outcomes. Coordinate project activities, including resources, programmes, budgets and deliverables, appropriate to your level of experience. Contribute to proposals, client relationships and the continued growth of our Impact Assessment and Permitting practice. Support and collaborate with colleagues across Perth and AECOM’s broader Australia and New Zealand environmental practice. At more senior levels, provide technical review, project leadership and mentoring to developing team members.
