Job Description
Summary As Supplier Integration Leader you will lead integration across Design Engineering, Quality, and Supply Chain to improve supplier performance, hardware flow, and product quality for Next Generation Products (NGP). The Supplier Integration Leader drives design-informed quality improvements, strengthens alignment between engineering and supplier process development, and helps resolve critical hardware issues to enable delivery. This person serves as a technical leader, cross-functional integrator, and mentor, helping the team reduce defects, improve first-time yield, and accelerate execution across the module.
Job Description
Key Responsibilities Lead cross-functional efforts across design, quality, supply chain, and product line teams to improve supplier performance, and enable hardware delivery Drive proactive quality strategies for critical hardware and suppliers through design improvements, process problem solving, and APQP execution Partner with Supply Chain and Supplier Quality Engineering to eliminate nonconformances through root cause analysis and corrective action Mentor and coach engineers on supplier collaboration, defect reduction, and APQP implementation Influence decisions and build alignment across functions and organizational levels in a highly matrixed environment Travel as needed to support suppliers, and partner teams on site Required Qualifications Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Engineering from an accredited university Minimum of 5 years of experience in mechanical design, inclusive of experience delivering hardware as part of a design, manufacturing, or quality engineering organization This role requires the successful candidate to maintain a US Government Security Clearance; prerequisite for a security clearance is U.S. Citizenship. Preference will be given to candidates who currently hold US Government Security Clearance. Ability to travel up to 20% of the time. Desired Characteristics Bachelor’s or advanced degree in Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering from an accredited university Possess a current US Government Security Clearance. Experience supporting advanced propulsion or next-generation aerospace programs Experience mentoring or coaching engineers Strong communication, collaboration, and influencing skills Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience leading programs, projects, or cross-functional initiatives Project management and execution skills Deep understanding of the GE Aerospace Quality Management System Experience across all phases of APQP Team-first mindset with strong ownership, continuous improvement focus, and ability to build trust across stakeholders #securityclearance This role requires access to U.S. export-controlled information.
