For more information, visit Lowes India About the Team The Inventory Replenishment & Planning team ensures the right product, in the right quantity, in the right location, at the right time. It all starts with accurate sales forecasting. The Demand Planning team provides this forecast by analyzing trends and market intelligence, which guides inventory ordering and replenishment. The Inventory Replenishment team places orders based on the demand forecast adjusted for factors like safety stock, lead time, and current inventory. The Inventory Analytics team provides crucial data and insights to enhance inventory management, reduce costs, and boost profitability. They develop reports and dashboards that drive strategic decisions and foster innovation. I.
Job Summary
The Senior Analyst, Inventory Analytics, develops and maintains Business Critical reports, dashboards, and data assets that support the Replenishment and Demand Planning teams. The role partners with stakeholders to fulfill solve, deliver wider analytical need and provide actionable business insights. The Senior Analyst also take part in department level initiatives, investigates data and reporting issues, performs root-cause analysis, and ensures accurate, timely delivery while continuously improving and automating reporting solutions. Core Responsibilities: · Develop analytical solutions using statistical and quantitative techniques to solve complex business problems and provide actionable recommendations. · Develop, maintain, and enhance complex business-critical reports, dashboards, and data solutions to enable informed decision-making. · Leverage AI tools to develop POCs for business use cases involving complex data manipulation, advanced analytics, and predictive modeling. · Manage multiple analytical requests and independently drive projects from problem definition through successful completion. · Identify and lead automation opportunities to streamline reporting, analytics, and business processes. · Collaborate with cross-functional teams on department-level initiatives by providing the right data, analytical insights, and scalable solutions. III. Years of Experience: · 4+ years of work experience in providing analytical solutions to the business · At least 2+ years of experience in retail analytics IV.
Education
Qualification & Certifications Required Minimum Qualifications: · Bachelor’s/Master’s Degree in Engineering / Statistics MBA or master’s degree in Supply Chain
