Summary
We're seeking an experienced IT Procurement Specialist to manage sourcing, negotiations and contract management across a broad range of categories including technology, professional services and other indirect spend. This role will support end to end procurement activities and partner closely with stakeholders to drive value, efficiency and compliance across the organization. We are looking for someone to join our Procurement team out of one of our hub locations (Burnaby, Calgary or Toronto). All hub-based Clions are expected to be in the office for a minimum of twice per week on one of our Anchor Days.

What you’ll work on: Manage the complete procurement lifecycle across multiple categories (including intake, sourcing, negotiations, supplier and contract management). Support sourcing activities for technology, professional services and other business needs. Evaluate supplier proposals, pricing and contract terms to ensure best value, risk mitigation and compliance. Partner with stakeholders to understand requirements and align procurement strategies with business needs. Lead or support negotiations of commercial terms and contracts. Maintain supplier relationships and support performance management and issue resolution. Track contracts, renewals and spend to identify optimization and cost-savings opportunities. Ensure compliance with internal policies, governance frameworks and regulatory requirements. Contribute to the development and documentation of procurement processes and best practices. Support continuous improvement initiatives including tools, reporting and process standardisation. What you bring: 3-5 years of experience working in procurement, sourcing or supply chain management across multiple categories. Experience leading or supporting supplier negotiations and contract reviews. Proven ability to manage the end to end procurement cycle, from requisition to contract and supplier management. Ability to manage competing priorities and operate independently. Strong stakeholder management skills and communication skills with a proactive, solutions-oriented approach. Analytical mindset with the ability to identify cost savings and efficiencies. Familiarity with procurement systems (e.g. Coupa, SAP, Oracle, Ariba, etc). Growth mindset when it comes to process improvement and new technologies, especially AI. Relevant Experience: Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Finance or a related field. This is a new role.
