This dual-focused role combines hands-on project management of complex relocations (up to 8,000 + people) with supervisory responsibilities including task assignment, work quality monitoring, performance coaching, and team coordination. The position requires advanced technical knowledge of relocation management, minimum construction background and the ability to ensure team productivity while maintaining your individual project deliveries.     Key Differentiators Working supervisor who spends a significant portion of time performing hands-on relocation project management while leading a team Provides day-to-day supervision including task assignment, work monitoring, and performance coaching Focus on immediate work group planning, staffing allocation, and resource management Administrative and operational focus with accountability for team results Collaborate with Direct Senior Manager on resolving issues and setting team priorities Ensures team productivity, service quality, and adherence to policies and procedures Responsible for both personal project delivery and team performance outcomes   Job Responsibilities Team Leadership & Supervision (40-50%) Day-to-Day Team Management: Oversee a team of 3 Relocation Project Managers and/or Move Coordinators Assign tasks, delegate work, and balance workload across team members Monitor work progress and check quality at regular intervals Maintain project schedules and ensure timely delivery of team commitments Coordinate team activities to meet operational plans and budget parameters Ensure work is performed as prescribed by policies and procedures to achieve productivity, service, and quality standards Performance Management & Development: Provide ongoing coaching and feedback to direct report on performance Conduct performance reviews and support professional development planning Identify skill gaps and training needs within the team Mentor less experienced staff on complex project challenges and best practices Guide team members with constructive feedback on project deliverables Support career development and advancement of team members   Resource & Workflow Coordination: Plan and forecast staffing needs for upcoming projects Allocate resources across multiple concurrent relocation projects Ensure appropriate skill matching for project assignments Coordinate with other teams and functions to secure necessary support Resolve resource conflicts and competing priorities Maintain team utilization rates and productivity metrics Problem Resolution: Serve as escalation point for team members encountering challenges Resolve operational problems based on provided guidelines and established procedures Make decisions within specific guidelines on matters of basic to moderate complexity Seek guidance from Direct senior management on more complex work assignments Ensure consistent application of policies and procedures across the team     Project Management & Execution (30-40%) Direct Project Delivery: Plan, manage, and execute complex relocations of 1,000-5,000+
