Standard Job Description What We’re Doing Our team, the Command and Control, Battle Management and Communications (C2BMC) team at Lockheed Martin, is dedicated to engineering, developing, and integrating new capabilities for the Missile Defense System that protects the United States and its allies. While we are part of a large organization, we operate within smaller, agile teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment. Our responsibilities include Sensor/Weapon Integration, Algorithm Development, User Interface Development, Automated Testing, Cyber Security, and enhancing critical missile defense technologies. The Work The Project Engineer will have the responsibility to work with I&T Leadership to manage, coordinate, and oversee the cross Agile Release Train. In this role the selected candidate will support the planning and execution of technical scope, schedule, and cost inputs for changes, ECPs and other customer engineering estimate requests. This individual will support development of I&T IMS Objective evidence, the collection of IMS status accounting, and will support cross spiral de-confliction, cross functional area coordination, and schedule/resource issue resolution. The Project Engineer will be responsible for the following: -Facilitating the tactical mechanics and execution of our monthly Earned Value Management (EVM) rhythm -These mechanics of executing our monthly EVM rhythm include working heavily within the program's EVM tools (Excel analyses spreadsheets, inputs to PM Compass, Open Plan input spreadsheets, RASCAL and CAP sheets) -Performs weekly / monthly analyses of EVM data -Inputs come from Program Finance reports (e.g. weekly actuals, hours reports, teammate reports, Eaglespeed material data) -Provide summary level information/conclusions from this analysis to their assigned ART (key drivers, anomalies, concerns, etc.) including elevating concerns to other impacted CAMs as well Please Note: - This position requires a government security clearance; you must be a U.S. Citizen for consideration.
