This opening is for a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) (CONTRACT) Opportunity MUST be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) & Week 2: MONDAY AND TUESDAY (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. Provides, directs, and guides patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for specific patient population served. Ensures that high standards of professional nursing are maintained. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management efforts. This is a 13‑week contract. Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi. Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with one year supervisory experience in psychiatric setting. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
