This opening is for a dynamic Registered Nurse (RN) (CONTRACT) Opportunity MUST be available to attend the Full Hospital and Departmental orientations: Week 1: MONDAY -FRIDAY (8 AM - 5 PM) & Week 2: MONDAY AND TUESDAY (8:00 AM - 4:30 PM) Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a provider of quality psychiatric treatment services for adults, children and adolescents. Our outpatient services are a convenient drive to areas in Hinds County, Madison County and Rankin County. We also provide inpatient services for those who need more structured treatment. Brentwood Behavioral Healthcare is a 133-bed acute psychiatric care facility located in Flowood, Mississippi. We are accredited by the Joint Commission of Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations and certified by Medicare, Medicaid and TRICARE®. We provide psychiatric treatment for depression, bipolar disorder, anxiety, schizophrenia, phobia and more. It is important these issues get treated so individuals are able to lead a healthy and happy life. Website: Brentwoodjackson.com Job Description: Responsible for the hands-on delivery of patient care in the assigned unit. Provides, directs, and guides patient teaching, discharge planning, and care planning for specific patient population served. Ensures that high standards of professional nursing are maintained. Further contributes to nursing and the hospital through support of philosophy and objectives, educational efforts, and Quality Management efforts. This is a 13‑week contract. Qualifications
Minimum: Graduate from an accredited school of nursing. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi. Preferred: A Bachelor of Science in Nursing with one year supervisory experience in psychiatric setting. Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in Mississippi.
