About this role
About this Role: Wells Fargo is seeking a Principal Digital Product Manager to shape the workplace technology experience for the COO Global Operations organization. As the Workplace Technology Experience Lead , you will serve as the senior strategic partner connecting business priorities with the technology experiences that enable employees to perform at their best. This is a high-impact opportunity to influence a broad portfolio spanning end-user computing, collaboration platforms, regulated communications, audiovisual and print solutions, and emerging AI and productivity tools . You will work alongside senior leaders across business, technology, operations, risk, compliance, and controls to establish product strategy, prioritize investments, accelerate adoption, and deliver measurable business value. Rather than managing individual solutions, you will define the why and what behind the portfolio. By translating complex workflows, employee needs, and regulatory requirements into outcome-driven roadmaps, you will bring clarity to investment decisions and ensure workplace technology is resilient, compliant, scalable, and continuously improving. For a product leader who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, technology, and employee experience, this role offers the opportunity to influence how work gets done across one of Wells Fargo’s most critical organizations. In this role, you will: Act as a top subject matter expert to lead digital products, initiatives, for a functional area within the digital environment with enterprise impact, high risk and/or with significant scope, cost, and benefits Lead the strategy and resolution of the most complex and significant development and execution of digital business plans, programs and initiatives which have significant impact across multiple areas or the enterprise Deliver solutions that are long-term, large-scale, broad-reaching, and require vision, creativity, innovation, advanced analytical and inductive thinking Coordinate highly complex activities and resolution Provide vision, leadership, and industry expertise regarding digital strategy for product/functionality/experience area Influence, digital strategy for the business line or enterprise that significantly impacts the organization's business and financial operations Strategically lead all levels of professionals and managers across the enterprise Serve as an expert advisor to leadership Represent the company externally in industry networking and trade and technical events Act as the senior workplace technology partner for the line of business, serving as the single point of accountability for translating business needs into prioritized workplace technology outcomes. Develop and maintain a rolling 12–18 month workplace technology roadmap aligned to business strategy, employee personas, regulatory obligations, and enterprise standards. Partner with business leaders to understand workflows, pain points, and productivity opportunities, and translate those insights into outcome‑focused product strategies rather than feature‑driven requests. Lead transparent portfolio prioritization, facilitating explicit trade‑offs across competing demands, and aligning initiatives to firmwide strategy, capacity, and Run‑the‑Bank commitments. Ensure regulatory, risk, security, records management, and compliance requirements are embedded into workplace technology products from inception, not treated as after‑the‑fact gates. Serve as a trusted advisor to executive stakeholders by presenting decision‑ready options that clearly articulate value, cost, risk, and trade‑offs. Partner with Workplace Technology domain product owners (e.g., End User Compute, Collaboration, Regulated Messaging, Print, AV, Productivity Platforms) to influence solution direction while respecting clear ownership boundaries. Drive adoption and value realization by defining success metrics, tracking outcomes post‑launch, and partnering on change
