What You’ll Work On The Front-Line Leader  is responsible for leading and coordinating shift operations to ensure the safe, efficient, and compliant production of quality products. This role provides direct leadership to production team members, driving performance, engagement, and operational excellence while supporting site, department, and business objectives. Maintain a strong floor presence, providing direction, communication, and real-time support to production personnel. Develop team members through training, coaching, performance feedback, and accountability, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement. Promote and model a culture of safety, quality, and compliance with all FDA, OSHA, Abbott, and site-specific policies and procedures. Manage personnel and production processes to ensure all quality, regulatory, and operational standards are consistently met. Monitor, analyze, and communicate key performance indicators (KPIs), identifying opportunities to improve productivity, efficiency, and overall line performance. Drive continuous improvement initiatives through effective problem-solving, root cause analysis, and implementation of corrective actions. Coordinate shift start-ups, changeovers, and daily operational activities to support seamless multi-shift production performance. Support achievement of team, department, and site goals through effective communication, cross-functional collaboration, and execution of assigned projects and action plans.
