Job Description
Project Management Lead the execution of railway civil and track construction projects from initiation through completion. Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, resource plans, and execution strategies. Monitor project progress and implement corrective actions where required. Ensure project delivery aligns with client requirements, contractual obligations, and company objectives. Civil & Track Construction Management Manage all civil works activities, including earthworks, structures, drainage, foundations, and railway-related infrastructure. Oversee track installation activities, including ballast, sleepers, rails, turnouts, and associated track components. Ensure compliance with approved designs, specifications, and construction standards. Coordinate construction interfaces between civil, track, signalling, telecommunications, and systems teams. Stakeholder Management Maintain effective communication with clients, consultants, contractors, and regulatory authorities. Lead project meetings and provide progress reports to senior management and stakeholders. Resolve technical, commercial, and operational issues affecting project performance. Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) Promote and maintain a strong safety culture across the project. Ensure compliance with company HSE policies and project-specific safety requirements. Lead investigations of incidents and implement corrective and preventive actions. Commercial & Contract Management Monitor project costs and ensure financial targets are achieved. Manage variations, claims, and contractual correspondence. Review subcontractor performance, certifications, and payment applications. Quality Management Ensure all works comply with approved quality plans and inspection requirements. Monitor testing, commissioning, and handover activities. Ensure project documentation is maintained and handed over in accordance with client requirements. Leadership & Team Management Lead multidisciplinary project teams and subcontractors. Mentor engineers and site management personnel. Drive team performance and promote continuous improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
Education Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent. Master's Degree in Engineering or Project Management is preferred. Professional Certifications PMP (Project Management Professional) preferred. PRINCE2 certification is an advantage. SCE Registration (Saudi Council of Engineers) preferred for projects in Saudi Arabia.
