As a key member of the Project Execution Team, the Tool Equipment Install Technician is an individual contributor reporting to the Tool Install Manager. Responsibilities will include but are not limited to: Blueprint Reading: Understanding architectural and engineering drawings is fundamental. Candidate must interpret these plans to ensure structures and systems are built according to specifications. Mathematical Proficiency: Accurate measurements and calculations are critical to avoid costly mistakes and reduce rework. Tool Handling: Familiarity with a wide range of tools and machinery is necessary. Workers should know how to operate equipment safely and efficiently. Material Knowledge: Recognizing different materials and their properties helps in selecting the right resources for specific tasks, ensuring durability and compliance with standards. Problem Solving: Construction sites and factories often present unexpected challenges. The ability to quickly devise solutions keeps projects on track. Project Management: Experience in managing multiple projects, including planning, execution, and monitoring. Supplier Management: Managing suppliers and contractors and ensuring they meet project requirements and deadlines. Lean Principles: Applying lean principles to ensure efficient and safe construction through commissioning operations. Safety: Build and drive safety Culture of Care in every business environment, office to the construction sites, and from front-end planning to tool equipment construction and commissioning execution. In addition to the qualifications a successful candidate will demonstrate: Communication: Effective communication is crucial for minimizing confusion and ensuring everyone is on the same page. This includes asking the right questions, expressing ideas proactively, and clearly articulating thoughts in both spoken and written forms.
