Sr. Consultant, Business Consulting, Programs Ops This role will support the ESS Programs planning unit, which provides niche insurance products through the delegated authority Program Administrator market. ESS Programs writes ~$1B GWP annually by partnering with ~50 Program Administrators. “Program” in the context of this role means a niche insurance product that reaches the market through the partnership between Nationwide and its delegated authority Program Administrator. Ideal candidate will: Develop deep subject matter expertise in the Programs Governance Framework, including the full Programs Lifecycle such as vetting, onboarding, and offboarding niche insurance programs Serve as an experienced project manager with strong facilitation and stakeholder management skills, capable of leading and influencing large, cross-functional teams. Establish establish project structure, governance routines, timelines, risks, dependencies, and decision logs. These are true business initiatives and will not focus on technology-related business delivery. Be comfortable navigating ambiguity and helping define scope, roles, ownership, and next steps when work is not fully structured. Effectively shift between planning unit priorities and broader enterprise initiatives, maintaining alignment across multiple workstreams and stakeholders. Demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation skills, including development of standard operating procedures, executive-ready materials, and ongoing maintenance of governance documentation. Possess strong change management capability, including communication planning, stakeholder alignment, and adoption support.
