We are currently looking for a highly analytical and forward-thinking Finance Professional to join our Amazon Cross Border Business team. This role will own finance partnership on multiple strategic programs to support Amazon’s growth in Emerging Countries (Arab Emirates, Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Turkey etc.) through Retail Vendor Management Programs. The role will be based in Dubai. The role is broad in scope and will require an individual who is motivated to make an impact on strategic decisions for both long term and short term goal. This role contributes to all controllership functions including financial reporting, planning, control and analysis to service our business customers. This role requires a self-starter with business modeling skills, a keen attention to detail, a track record of influencing business partners with data-driven decision making, and the ability to move fast. This role requires close coordination with senior leaders and provides exposure to finance and business partners around the world. Make History.” Key job responsibilities - Partner with Senior leadership to evaluate the financial impact of decisions - Partner with various business and tech teams to become a subject matter expert on systems and outcomes - Drive continual standardization and streamlining of reporting, planning and forecasting processes - Root cause analysis and uncover core issues using data, then assisting to develop the improvement plans and create new measures - Be a steward for maximizing long term free cash flow of investments - Own end to end P/L management and build financial projections for innovative growth models A day in the life The successful candidate has demonstrated the following abilities: they influence business owners, support thoughtful decision-making, and adapt to a rapidly-evolving environment.
