Job Description
AND Principal Responsibilities Lead , S W Engineer , Private Capital Technology is responsible for develop ing and maintain ing Private Capital specific programs and processes. Primary system is Private Capital Suite ( fka Investran) and all the development tools associated with it. Design , develop , troubleshoot and improve change resilient application code and execute robust effective testing. Manage task and project execution to ensure expected business requirements and related benefits are delivered within appropriate time/budget parameters . Flexibly w ork independently and as part of a team toward individual and team projects . From a product mindset perspective, engage in supporting applications (L2/L3). Comply with Technology mandates as they relate to methodology, process, and compliance . Candidate will need to work afternoon shifts to support EMEA business users, including some weekend work when deploying code. Experience/Skills Experience Bachelor’s degree or equivalent Primary e xperience in dotnet and SQL stored procedures . Experience with project feasibility, definition requirements , design , testing and project delivery Experience with Agile project methodologies , CICD workflows, vulnerability management and issue remediation Required Skills SQL dotnet REST APIs Terraform and IAAS Experience on working on Azure Cloud Proven problem solving and organizational skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills Work in a manner in keeping with the Northern Trust company’s core values Fast learner Self-motivated Preferred/ Recommended Skills: Experience in Private Capital and/or F inancial industry PCS Live ( fka Investran) experience Python Kafka Active Templates, Allocation Rules and Business Events ACCEL workflows Working with Us As a Northern Trust partner, you will be part of a flexible and collaborative work culture, which has a strong history of financial strength and stability.
