Job Description
DEPARTMENT OVERVIEW TD Securities (TDS) Finance is responsible for developing and delivering financial strategy, information and management support on a segment-wide basis for TDS, consistent with TD's enterprise risk appetite. This includes providing a wide range of analysis and decision support relating to the informational needs of the TDS business leaders and senior finance management. The TDS Finance team plays an important strategic role for TDS, ensuring that the right metrics are developed and communicated to the businesses amid continuously evolving market environment and regulatory requirements. Co-op and Internship opportunities allow you to gain valuable work experience across a number of the businesses at TD. Our Co-op/Intern Programming is offered with select Co-op and Internship roles and is designed to help you better understand the TD business, build on critical career capabilities, and broaden your professional network. This program is designed to complement your on-the job experience and features: Leadership talks with key Leaders from across the organization Lunch and Learns on topics such as Innovation Diversity and Inclusion and Personal Branding and so much more JOB DESCRIPTION Work closely with business partners to understand client revenue and profitability (i.e. NIAT) to inform business decisions that drive profitable growth Assist with the design and implementation of reporting to help monitor progress against new/existing initiatives across Global Markets Contribute to simplifying and automating existing processes, e.g. using Tableau/Alteryx The Co-Op will support the Equities, Equities Derivatives and the EQ/Debt Underwriting & Securitization Finance team's management reporting responsibilities through standard month end activities along with the streamlining of the Hyperion and source system bookings to the lowest granularity of business inputs There is an opportunity to help further build out our regional Planning and Reporting processes The Co-Op will also participate in process improvements, data analytics, ad hoc requests, and projects/initiatives to meet business requirements.
