Lead Technology Specialist

In this role as a Lead Technology Specialist, you will help shape and deliver innovative solutions that help to improve customer experiences on our machines to address key customer challenges. You will collaborate closely with commercial, engineering, and strategy teams to define product requirements, prioritize initiatives, and develop long-term product strategies. This position plays a critical role in aligning business goals with customer needs and driving successful product outcomes.

Lead the definition and refinement of strategic goals for In Command for Hauling and Fleet features, working with cross-functional team members from Commercial, Strategy, Engineering and New Product Introduction. Develop and manage multi-generational product plans aligned to business objectives Establish and manage product line priorities and manage investments Define, document, and prioritize market requirements, product capabilities, and features Analyze market conditions and competitive landscapes to inform strategy Define success metrics and track product performance against objectives Drive alignment across cross-functional stakeholders through clear communication of strategy Collaborate with engineering teams to evolve product roadmaps and ensure execution What You Have: Producing Results: Understanding of the criticality of getting things done despite current circumstances and the ability to utilize assigned resources and leverage back-channel resources (individuals or teams) to achieve or exceed planned outcomes. Competitive Environment: Knowledge of business market concepts and principles; ability to utilize the processes, tools and techniques for gathering, analyzing, and communicating information about the competitive environment. Knowledge of Customers: Knowledge of various types of customers and ability to analyze customer activities, profiles and information. Organizational Leadership: Knowledge of leadership concepts and ability to use strategies and skills to enlist others in setting, embracing and achieving objectives. Strategic Thinking: Knowledge of the importance of "big picture" thinking and planning; ability to apply organizational acumen and competitiveness to identify and maintain focus on key success factors for the organization. Consideration for Top Candidates: Prior experience supporting Mining Technology Products required Experience understanding customer needs as it relates to business strategy for product road mapping and strategies. Cross-functional experience across engineering, commercial, strategy, etc. Construction or Mining experience preferred with knowledge of how customer use our machines; Proving Grounds, Surfacing Managing or Customer Job Site experience preferred.

Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Technology, Engineering, or related field preferred Additional Information: This position requires the candidate to work full-time in Tucson, AZ Domestic relocation assistance is available for this position. This position will require up to 25% travel #LI     Summary Pay Range: $128,470.00 - $208,770.00 Compensation and benefits offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, job level, market location, job-related knowledge, skills, individual performance and experience. Please note that salary is only one component of total compensation at Caterpillar.
