Location/Division Specific Information ** On-site at our Prince George, VA facility. ** This role is to support a new factory in Prince George, VA (onsite) startup manufacturing large form-factor equipment . The product will be large (shipping container size), heavy (50+ tons), and complex . This position will be part of the core factory startup and onboarding team responsible for building the operations and manufacturing staff, fitting out the building, and creating the process flow/work instructions/etc. from the ground up. Skills to include: panel and point to point wire assembly, Medium Voltage, Low Voltage, and High Power Electronic assemblies. How will you make an impact? Y ou w ill play a key role in developing, implementing, and maintaining the site's Quality Management System (QMS), ensuring compliance with regulatory, customer, and company requirements. Working closely with Operations, Engineering, Supply Chain, and other cross-functional teams, you will help establish the processes, procedures, and controls needed to support a successful manufacturing startup. Through audits, CAPA management, document control, risk assessment, and continuous improvement activities, you will help build a strong quality culture and drive long-term operational success. What will you do? Develop, implement, and maintain quality plans, procedures, and control systems for manufacturing operations. Lead the development, implementation, maintenance, and continuous improvement of the site's Quality Management System (QMS) to ensure compliance with customer, regulatory, and company requirements, including ISO 9001:2015 certification readiness. Establish and maintain key quality system processes, including document control, CAPA, internal audits, management review, rec ords retenti on, and training compliance. Develop and maintain process documentation, quality standards, process flow diagrams, PFMEAs, Control Plans, inspection plans, and work instructions. Create and improve inspection, testing, validation, and process control methodologies. Monitor and analyze quality system and operational performance metrics to identify trends, drive improvements, and mitigate risks. Lead root cause investigations and systemic problem-solving activities to identify and eliminate recurring quality issues. Administer and drive CAPA processes, ensuring timely implementation, closure, and effectiveness verification. Conduct internal audits and support customer, supplier, certification, a nd t hir d-party audits. Facilitate Management Review activities and support site quality reporting requirements. Support risk assessment and risk management activities to identify , evaluate, and mitigate potential quality systems and operational risks. Collaborate with Manufacturing, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Customer teams to ensure quality requirements are understood and achieved. Support process validation, qualification, a nd n ew product introduction activities. Drive compliance with ISO 9001:2015 and applicable regulatory requirements, supporting certification readiness and ongoing system effectiveness.
