We are looking for a legally trained professional to join the Office of General Counsel (OGC) team within PwC’s Internal Firm Services. This role will support the General Counsel in identifying , managing and mitigating legal risks, ensuring compliance with applicable laws, regulations and PwC Network policies, and providing practical legal advice to internal stakeholders across the Firm.
What you will do
Legal advisory Provide practical, solutions-oriented legal advice to internal stakeholders on matters relating to the Firm’s operations, legal risk management, regulatory requirements and internal governance. Support business units and leadership teams on day-to-day legal advisory matters, helping to translate legal requirements into clear, practical and commercially sound guidance. Advise on employment and Industrial Relations matters, including employee relations issues, disciplinary processes, workplace investigations, restructuring support, grievance management and related risk considerations. Contract management Develop and maintain contract templates, guidance materials and playbooks to support consistent and efficient contracting practices across the Firm. Review, draft and negotiate a broad range of commercial and internal contracts, including engagement letters, client terms, vendor arrangements, non-disclosure agreements and other legal documents relevant to the Firm’s operations. Support cross-territory contracting matters by working with PwC network firms, regional legal teams and internal stakeholders to align contracting positions, manage legal risk and facilitate effective delivery across jurisdictions . Industrial Relations and employment advisory Provide legal and strategic support on Industrial Relations and employment-related matters, including employee relations issues, disciplinary proceedings, performance management concerns, workplace investigations, grievance handling, separation and restructuring matters, and employment risk assessments. Advise internal stakeholders on practical and legally sound approaches to managing workforce matters, supporting alignment with applicable employment laws, internal policies and PwC’s risk management expectations. PwC Network Standards compliance management Conduct compliance assessments, testing and reporting in relation to PwC Network Standards and key legal and regulatory areas, including anti-corruption, antitrust, insider trading, data protection and data privacy. Other Prep are and support on training by OGC on important/new legislations, contracts, policies . Collaborate with OGC, R & Q and other Firm stakeholders on legal and regulatory projects, internal policy initiatives, risk management workstreams and process improvements. Prepare and support OGC-led training and awareness sessions on important legal developments, new legislation, contracts, policies and risk management topics.
