Together, we’re improving health and improving lives. Labcorp is seeking a Flow Cytometry Diagnostic Specialist Cell Immunology  to join our team in Burlington, NC. Work Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8:00am -5:30pm.

Job Responsibilities

Develop, validate, and implement new flow cytometry panels as needed for emerging diagnostic needs Analyze and interpret multi-color flow cytometry data for diagnostic purposes, including hematologic malignancies, immune deficiencies, and monitoring of transplant patients Maintain and troubleshoot flow cytometry instruments (e.g., BD FACSCanto, FACSLyric, or equivalent) to ensure optimal performance and data integrity Prepare data summaries, reports and write SOPs. Participate in quality control, proficiency testing, and process improvement initiatives. Provide training and mentorship to laboratory staff on flow cytometry techniques and analysis.

Minimum Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in a Chemical or Biological science, Clinical Laboratory Science or Medical Technology 2 years of relevant experience, preferably in a clinical diagnostic setting Preferred Qualifications ASCP or AMT certification Additional Job Standards Strong understanding of immunophenotyping and diagnostic applications in hematologic disorders is preferred Experience with flow cytometry software (e.g., FlowJo, Kaluza, FCS Express) is preferred Familiarity with regulatory standards (CLIA, CAP, HIPAA) in a clinical laboratory setting Excellent communication, documentation and problem-solving skills Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced laboratory environment Proficiency with laboratory information systems (LIS) and diagnostic instruments/software At Labcorp we have a passion for helping people live happy and healthy lives.
