We are looking for a Senior Quality Engineer who is hands-on in engineering quality into the product lifecycle — building scalable automation, driving strong testing strategy, and partnering closely with engineering teams across the SDLC. This role is centered on writing and maintaining automation code, frameworks, and pipelines yourself, while also providing technical guidance and mentorship to other engineers on the team.

Design and implement automation frameworks that are modular, scalable, and aligned with the bank's approved engineering patterns, libraries, and architectural standards. Develop BDD-aligned automated tests using Cucumber and the bank's standardized testing frameworks, ensuring scenarios reflect business intent and comply with internal governance. Integrate automated tests within CI/CD pipelines to establish and enforce quality gates that ensure deterministic, fast, and reliable feedback on every code change. Analyze test failures and improve signal quality, ensuring tests fail for the right reasons and provide actionable diagnostics. Drive test data, environment readiness, and observability to support reliable automation execution. Partner early with developers, product owners, and business analysts to shape requirements, define acceptance criteria, and prevent defects. Champion engineering-led quality practices that align with the bank's SDLC, risk controls, and regulatory expectations. Provide technical direction and mentorship to fellow QA engineers, helping the team align to defined testing strategy, standards, and bank-approved frameworks.
