As a Software Developer Intern on the Genesys Cloud Analytics team , you will work alongside experienced engineers building the cloud-based data services that power analytics across Genesys Cloud. You’ll contribute to real development projects while gaining exposure to large-scale data processing, distributed systems, and AWS technologies. Responsibilities/Job Duties In this role, the primary responsibilities include (but are not limited to): Work with team members to design, develop, and test features for the Genesys Cloud Analytics platform Contribute to services and data pipelines that process large volumes of customer interaction data Develop and test software using languages such as Java or Python Participate in code reviews and learn modern software engineering practices Gain exposure to AWS, distributed systems, data processing, and CI/CD Understand and comply with HIPAA Security and Privacy Laws Adhere to Genesys Code of Business Conduct and Ethics Have fun Required Qualifications Actively pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related technical discipline Programming experience through coursework, projects, or previous internships using Java, Python, or a similar language Foundational understanding of data structures, algorithms, and software development Interest in cloud computing, data engineering, analytics, or distributed systems Strong problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills Preferred Qualifications Exposure to AWS or other cloud platforms Familiarity with SQL, databases, or data processing Exposure to technologies such as Spark, Hadoop, or Airflow #LI-DNI #LI-DNP Compensation: This role has a market-competitive salary with an anticipated base compensation range listed below. Actual salaries will vary depending on a candidate’s experience, qualifications, skills, and location.
